LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Aquinas High School Dance Team won in poms performance for the sixth year-in-a-row at the WACPC State Dance competition on Saturday.
From high kick, jazz and poms categories, Wisconsin state high school dance teams brought their energy and passion to the La Crosse Center.
"It was an emotional roller coaster for me," Aquinas Dance Team Captain Sarena Young said. "I was so happy I was crying at the end of our jazz dance because it just means so much to us--our dance this year."
Young also received all-state honors and Aquinas won in jazz for the first time in history.
