BALTIMORE — The Ravens came into Sunday's game needing to keep their health intact more than any other result against the Steelers. They got a win to boot.
They beat the Steelers 28-10 at M&T Bank Stadium to clinch the team's best regular season in franchise history at 14-2.
Here are a few players whose stocks are up and down.
Stock up: Literally everything
The Ravens won the game, but that matters absolutely zero at this moment in time. The only thing it gives the Ravens is the franchise record for wins in a regular season.
As long as the field didn’t implode and no starters left the game with major injuries, Sunday’s game was going to be a win no matter what the score said. Aside from a potential injury to James Hurst, which didn't look serious, there's not much to complain about for the Ravens.
The big concern was keeping everyone available for a game in two weeks, and they accomplished that.
Stock up: Matthew Judon
Matthew Judon recorded yet another sack, which led to a late second half touchdown for the Ravens. The sack brought his total to 9.5 on the season, and figures to leave Judon with a regular season total high enough to get paid in the offseason.
He played into the second half, and didn’t injure himself, another big positive for the Ravens.
Stock down: The AFC North
The Ravens carried the AFC North by themselves this season. Elsewhere, it was ugly.
The Bengals locked up the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft in Week 16, the Browns capped an ugly 6-10 season with a loss to the Bengals and the Steelers fell all over themselves down the stretch to end the season with three straight losses.
Baltimore’s 14-2 campaign was the league’s best, but there’s not much else to brag about for the AFC North with a long offseason ahead for at least two of the four teams.
Stock up: Gus Edwards
Gus Edwards went over 100 yards for the second time this season as the lead horse in the Ravens backfield.
Edwards played the part due to Mark Ingram’s left calf injury. Ingram was injured last week against the Browns and sat out of Week 17’s contest as a precaution.
In his time on the big stage, Edwards shined and showed the Ravens why they’ve got two legitimate options in the backfield during the playoffs.
Stock neutral: Robert Griffin III
Robert Griffin III didn’t play excellently, but he wasn’t terrible either.
While that was enough for a win, even without some big offensive contributors in the rain, it wasn’t the performance that Griffin likely envisioned for himself.
He finished 11-for-21 passing with 96 yards and an interception, in addition to 50 yards on the ground.
Griffin showed that he’s not going to lead the Ravens to a win by himself, but he’s capable of steering the ship if need be.
Stock up: Offensive line
With Ronnie Stanley and Marshal Yanda out, the Ravens offensive line held the fort against a solid Steelers defensive front.
Parker Ehinger and Ben Powers received meaningful snaps for the first time all season — Powers for the first time in his career — and James Hurst patrolled left tackle for the second time in three weeks.
The unit led the way for a 100-yard rusher in Edwards and a win without significant offensive contributors. It was a big day for the big boys up front.
Stock up: Jordan Richards
Jordan Richards recovered a fumble in the end zone for his first NFL touchdown late in the game to put the Steelers officially away.
It was a nice exclamation point for the Ravens' 14-2 season, and a nice addition for Richards' season. He started the year in New England, but was released after the Patriots signed Justin Bethel.
At this point, it looks like he got the better end of the deal.
