Ready for a road trip? Pack your dancing shoes.

Superstar DJ and producer Diplo has been named the headliner for the 2020 Elements Music & Art Festival on Memorial Day weekend (May 22-25) in Lakewood, Pennsylvania. The dance festival and sleepaway camp is located just across the New York state border, a two-hour drive from Syracuse.

Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, is a Grammy-winning producer whose credits include Major Lazer, LSD (with Sia and Labrinth), Silk City (with Mark Ronson), and Jack U (with Skrillex). He’s also worked with M.I.A., Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Shakira, Lil Nas X and Beyonce.

The rest of the Elements lineup includes 2020 Grammy nominee Bonobo and notable names in dance like Gramatik, Four Tet, Chris Lake, Bob Moses, Tokimonsta, Claude VonStroke, Yotto, and dubstep favorite Rusko. Diplo will perform a house set from his label Higher Ground on Friday.

“If you want to see who is playing Coachella in 2022, come to Elements this May,” says Timothy Monkiewicz, co-founder of Elements Festival, tells Billboard. “From international touring headliners to underground heroes, there will be cutting edge grooves for all tastes and styles. As we continue to expand, so does our art and experiences. Expect larger then life 30-foot tall sculptures, a glowing Alice-in-Wonderland forest path, and outlandish stages built by the world’s leading creative minds.”

The four-day event, now in its fourth year, features dance parties all night long and a slew of daytime activities, including swimming in a lake, yoga, craft vendors, meditative sound baths, “vibe villages,” summer camp-inspired activities, and a functional pirate ship. The fun is spread out over a 150-acre lot with four “immersive” stages, named after the elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water), and dozens of community produced stages.

Tickets are on sale at elementsfest.us; general admission weekend passes start at $249. VIP, camping and glamping packages are also available. Must be 18 or older to attend.
