権力に批判なければ学問でない 学術会議任命拒否、国会内で集会 - 東京新聞

　日本学術会議の会員任命拒否に抗議する集会で、発言する青山学院大の羽場久美子教授＝３０日午後、国会

　菅義偉首相が日本学術会議の会員候補６人の任命を拒否したことに抗議する集会が３０日、国会内で開かれ、学者や国会議員、市民ら約３００人（主催者発表）が参加した。青山学院大の羽場久美子教授は、６人が政府の安全保障政策などに反対の立場を明らかにしていた点を踏まえ「権力に批判的であり続けなければ学問ではない」と訴えた。

　羽場氏は「６人が専門とする人文・社会科学系こそ、政権や権力に自由に意見を言える。学問は権力を監視し続けなければならない」と強調した。

　集会には、野党の国会議員らも駆け付けた。
